Golf: Buckstone on high

BUCKSTONE Golfing Society have won the Sivewright Quaich for the first time in exactly 30 years.

Represented by John Saunderson, Gordon Shaw, Douglas Naismith and Robin Black, they beat Cramond at the second extra hole in a thrilling final at Prestonfield. In a match that saw both games finish all square after 18 holes, Richard Scott, Rodney Law, Alex Renton and Mark Lothian were in action for Cramond.
