Golf: Turner ready to do the job

AMATEUR ace Jane Turner is confident a new job won’t stop her trying to secure a Scotland spot later this season.

“I will be graduating in July with a BDes in Graphic Design and have managed to secure a job with the company where I did my placement, The Fourth Craw, in Edinburgh,” said the Craigielaw player.

“I started last week and they are being great by letting me have the time off I need for tournaments so I’m getting the best of both worlds – a career in the industry I love and still being able to compete at a high level.”

Next up for Turner is the Scottish Women’s Championship at Tain in a fortnight’s time. “Hopefully with the hard work I’ve been putting in and the help of my coach Stephen Murray I’ll be able to get the result I’m looking for,” she added.
