Golf: Veterans triumph

BABERTON’S Senior Greensomes event was won by a bunch who are all still capable of giving some of the young pups a run for their money.

Murrayfield duo Derek Miller and Bob Yardley joined forces with Lothianburn’s Harvey Brown and David Millar from Goswick to claim the spoils with a net 56 off two.

Also on the seniors’ circuit, Law Hardie won Haddington’s Open event.
