WEST LINTON’S Gareth Wright spearheads the Lothians contingent in Tuesday’s qualifier for the Glenmuir PGA Professional Championship.

Also in the field at Ladybank are Uphall’s Gordon Law, the 2003 Glenmuir champion, Murrayfield pro Jonny Cliff, Musselburgh’s Norman Huguet and Graham MacKay of Prestonfield.

Up for grabs are places in a £78,000 final, which is being played at the De Vere Carden Park in Cheshire, August 7-10.
