East lothian bridged a 15-year gap to be crowned as East Division Inter County champions.

Their first triumph in the event since 1999 came at North Berwick and was richly deserved.

The hosts beat Stirling & Clackmannan 5-3, then defeated Fife 6½-2½ on the first two days.

It left them needing only a draw against defending champions Midlothian in their last match and a 5½-3½ success in that sealed the title in style.

Dawn Young captained the triumphant team, which also included Lesley Atkins, Liz Dunn-Butler, Joanne Free, Jane Herd, Charlotte Munro, Keren Ward and Mary Lou Watkins.

They are all pictured along with Carol MacLeod (president) and Barbara Biggart (vice captain).

East Lothian now join Renfrewshire (West Division), Angus (North Division) and Borders (South Division) in the Scottish County finals at Hilton Park in September.
