Grove Menzieshill are third on 19 points and the rest are five points adrift of the Dundee side.

Edinburgh University, who were fourth going into the weekend, slipped to fifth after taking only one point from a possible six. They lost 2-1 at AAM Gordonians on Saturday – the north east team’s first win this season.

The students drew 3-3 at lowly PSL Team Sport Clydesdale on Sunday, the match having been switched from Peffermill because of a double booking.

Edinburgh were 3-1 down after 50 minutes. Aidan Black scored for the home side after three minutes and Ian Moodie levelled 13 minutes later.
