Greg Lobban wins his '˜biggest squash title to date'
Both were winners at last weekend’s New Zealand International Classic, and Lobban proved invincible again as he clinched his third PSA title in a row at the Southern Open in Invercargill. Malaysian top seed Ivan Yuen was beaten 11-7, 11-6, 3-11, 11-9 in the final to give the Scottish No.2 his 12th straight win. Such has been Lobban’s recent dominance that game three was the first he had lost in the last 25.
“I’m very happy to have won my biggest title to date,” he smiled after securing his ninth career victory. “It was a great tournament.”
