With only four games remaining of the regular season, there is still hope in the camp the Caps can pick up a win before the curtain comes down and, after another weekend of losses, attention now turns to a Panthers side who have struggled for consistency of late.

Corey Neilson’s team also lost their two weekend games but will be confident of tonight gaining the two points that will secure a play-off berth.

But D’Orazio has urged his men to keep any mistakes to a minimum as they hope to upset the 2013 league champions in their own building.

“They are a team filled with experience, from guys that played in the league a long time or players who have competed in Europe, but if we limit our mistakes then I’m confident we can go there and surprise them,” D’Orazio said.

“Hopefully we can do something in what is a tough building to visit. We have to learn from our mistakes and stay tight at the back as they have plenty of players capable of scoring.”
