Ice Hockey: Capitals look for double

EDINBURGH CAPITALS travel to take on Braehead Clan tonight seeking their fourth consecutive win in ice hockey’s Elite League.

The city outfit beat Clan 4-2 at Murrayfield on Sunday night and will be aiming to leapfrog tonight’s opponents into sixth spot outright after moving level with them in the standings.

Capitals will be hoping Rene Jarolin, who struck a hat-trick on Sunday evening, can maintain his fine form. However, they will be without defenceman Martin Petrina, who has been ruled out through injury.
