Judo: Burton’s waiting game won’t be in vain

Edinburgh’s Euan Burton knows his Olympic judo place is secure even though the British team will not be unveiled until next month.

An announcement has been scheduled for June 16 after nine omitted judokas lodged appeals with the British Judo Association following initial selection, but Burton has been told his place is safe.
