Next month’s Stephen Gallacher Foundation Trophy and Vase events will see a new piece of silverware up for grabs.

The Bobby Johnston Trophy will go to the lowest score to par over 54 holes at Macdonald Cardrona from either a boy or girl. “Bobby was one of our volunteers who sadly passed away this year,” said foundation manager Scott Knowles.

“He had a great love of golf and was a great fan of junior golf, so it is fitting that his family have put this trophy up for the younger players.”
