Michael Castle smashes an unbeaten 181 on debut for Carlton

On the same night, Stewart’s Melville got their first victory of the season in all competitions.
They saw off Edinburgh Accies by six wickets while 72 not out by Tom Foulds saw Mazars Grange home against RH Corstorphine.
Batting first at Portgower Place, the visitors had posted 136-9, but it was not to be enough. Teenager Freddie Peet took four wickets for Grange on his top-team debut.
On Tuesday evening, Watsonians defeated Musselburgh at Myreside. The East Lothian men made 85 all out batting first and then Andy Hislop and Callum Martin helped ensure Watsonians the victory.
