He is one of three new faces in the squad who will be hosting Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) at Forfarshire’s Forthill ground in a three-day encounter from Tuesday until Thursday next week.

Former Mazars Grange player Finlay McCreath, now with Wawrickshire) is also included alongside fellow newcomer Josh Wood. Carson, who moved to the Capital from Reading and is in his fifth season at Myreside, has played well for his club in recent months in the CSL Eastern Premier Division, but it has been his form with the Eastern Knights that has shot him to prominence.
