American football: Edinburgh Wolves stay focused

Have your say

EDINBURGH WOLVES head coach Don Edmonston has warned his American football players to remain focused as their complete their regular BAFA National League season with a trip to face Aberdeen Roughnecks tomorrow.

The Capital team are in a strong position to secure a wildcard place in the play-off, holding a 13-point advantage over Central Conference side Chester Romans. A win this weekend would see the Wolves end the regular season on 8-2. They could still win the Conference too, although they would need the West Coast Trojans to beat leaders Clyde Valley Blackhawks.

Edmonston said: “We know what we have to do and we are totally focused on this game and nothing else. First we have to secure a win in Aberdeen, then we can look to see how everything else pans out.”
