Peffermill stages Europe’s premier Aussie Rules Football event tomorrow (from 9am).
The Euro Cup will see 16 men’s and two women’s teams battle it out. Ireland are the holders and hosts Scotland are drawn with England, Denmark and newcomers Norway.
The Irish women won the inaugural women’s cup in 2010 and defended it in 2011. They will play a European Crusaders team made up of players from Scotland, England, France and Italy.
AFL Europe General Manager Ben MacCormack said: “This is a chance to see and hear the game up close and personal before the AFL European Challenge in London in November.”
