Capital diver Grace Reid nominated for athlete of the year award
The 22-year-old – who is now based in London, but learnt her trade with the Edinburgh Diving Club – has had a superb year and will go up against cyclist Katie Archibald and athlete Laura Muir.
“I am absolutely delighted to have been shortlisted for this award,” she said.

Back in April, Reid took gold at the Commonwealth Games in the 1m event in Australia.
After five World Series medals and a World Cup bronze, she then took gold in Edinburgh in the 3m event at the European Championships along with a silver in the 3m mixed synchro event.
