Edinburgh Jets travel north tomorrow to face Aberdonia in Aberlour seeking to get their women’s Schelde Sports Scottish Volleyball League campaign airborne.

Jets lost a tight opener with Su Ragazzi in four sets last weekend but it was a match that could have gone either way.

But they remain grounded and need to take three points against Aberdonia to show they will mount a challenge for honours this season.

Champions City of Edinburgh seek to build on their impressive opening win over Edinburgh Jets II when they travel to face Kyle Team Ayrshire.

The Capital side swept all before them last season, but Vince Krawczyk hopes his Troon Team Ayrshire can wrestle at least one piece of silverware away from Edinburgh this season.

In the men’s first division, Edinburgh Jets travel to Dundee confident their armoury will be too strong for the hosts. Paul Glissov and Abdoulle Bah both came up big in last weekend’s home win over Beacon Fire and will be looking to continue that form.
