Edinburgh canoeist David Florence tops the 2015 standings after finishing second in the C1 singles final at the slalom World Cup in Krakow, Poland.
The former world champion and double Olympic runner-up only scraped into the final but then raised his game with only Slovakia’s Matej Benus managing to beat his time of 86.19secs. Slovenian European champion Benjamin Savcek was third to join Florence on 105 points after the first two races of the season. They continue their rivalry in round three in Slovakia this weekend.
Roslin youngster Bradley Forbes-Cryans failed to reach the K1 kayak final, finishing 20th overall.
