NOVAK DJOKOVIC set up an Australian Open final clash with Andy Murray by beating defending champion Stan Wawrinka in a five-set thriller in Melbourne today.

The world No.1 secured a 7-6 (7-1), 3-6, 6-4, 4-6, 6-0 win over the Swiss to seal a third final meeting with Murray on Sunday.

Djokovic, a four-time winner in Australia, beat the Scot to land his titles in both 2011 and 2013.

Murray, a winner of the Wimbledon and US Open titles, is still chasing his first Aussie crown after being runner-up on three occasions. He lost his first final to Roger Federer in 2010.
