City of Edinburgh reached the men’s Scottish Volleyball Cup final for the first time in four years after seeing off last year’s runners-up NUVOC at Dundee University.
City came through in straight sets 3-0 to set up a final clash with South Ayrshire for the trophy next month.
The Capital club have only won the cup once before in 2012 when they beat Bon Accord convincingly.
South Ayrshire booked a place in the final for the first time by upsetting City of Glasgow Ragazzi 3-1 in the other semi-final.
It was a double celebration for the City of Edinburgh club as their women’s team reached their fifth cup final in six years by beating rivals Edinburgh Jets 3-1.
City will face Su Ragazzi, who beat QTS Troon in the other semi-final, as they bid to retain their trophy.
