GRANGE face Edinburgh University tomorrow (Fettes, 11am), having moved into third spot in hockey’s Division One.

Coach David Knipe’s team have won four of their last five games, a run which included a 2-1 victory at previous league pacesetters Grove Menzieshill.

The Stockbridge-based club have 18 points from nine games and trail Menzieshill by six points with a game in hand. Grange, though, are six adrift of new leaders Bromac Kelburne.

Edinburgh University recorderd a 2-1 victory over Grange earlier this season and Knipe’s squad are keen to avoid another setback and keep pace with the leaders.

The students, however, are determined to claim a win double and come into the game on the back of a 3-2 home success over Hillhead last Saturday and a 5-0 thrashing of MJV Dundee Wanderers on Tayside 24 hours later.

Meanwhile, it’s top versus bottom in the women’s Division One with leaders Edinburgh University at GHK (4.30pm).

Bromac Kelburne entertain Watsonians (3.10pm) while CALA Edinburgh face city rivals Erskine Stewart’s Melville (1pm).
