Volleyball: NUVOC eye glory at Scottish Open

Have your say

NUVOC aim to round off their most memorable volleyball season by adding more silverware to their collection at this weekend’s Scottish Open in Perth.

The men’s second division champions, runners-up in the Scottish Cup final, will be looking to make an impact on Britain’s biggest tournament, now in its
29th year. Around 100 teams are expected with entries received from America, Italy, Belgium and the Faroes as well as throughout Britain.

NUVOC face a difficult task, with Scotland’s men’s team using the preparation for the European Championship Small Countries finals in Luxembourg later this month.

Scotland will field two teams as head coach Tommy Dowens assesses his options ahead of the finals.
