Points victories for Tommy Philbin and Thomas Dickson
Fishmonger Philbin, 26, was untroubled in his light-heavyweight duel with English opponent Chris Nixon, winning on points 40-35.
The former Lochend amateur is considered to be one of Scotland’s brightest prospects and underlined his credentials with an astute display throughout the four rounds.

Dickson, who was overly critical of his previous win against Youssef Al Hamidi at Meadowbank last month, says he is looking forward to having some time off over the summer.
“He [Riyaz] was a tough, game opponent who came for a win so it was good to get a bit of a test,” Dickson said. “I’m looking forward to a break now after a hectic schedule boxing five times since December.”
