Rugby: Musselburgh, Wanderers and Cougars scoring for fun

Local clubs Musselburgh, Murrayfield Wanderers and RHC Cougars all ran in 50 or more points on a high scoring Saturday in RBS National One.

The leaders Musselburgh won their 17th league match of the season with a 50-16 home defeat of Langholm. The win keeps the East Lothian men one point ahead of Hawick Linden who saw off Garnock 39-7.

In the shadow of the national stadium Murrayfield Wanderers exacted revenge for defeat in November against Kilmarnock by beating the Ayrshire men 64-16.

Elsewhere in the division third placed Dunfermline won 50-10 on the road at Ellon while Linlithgow chalked up a 29-20 home win over Livingston.
