Rugby: Tuala is Watsons’ top man

Back row Paul Tuala has been named player of the season at Watsonian rugby club.

As well as starring at 15-a-side level Tuala has also been instrumental in assisting ‘Sonians to a successful stint on the Spring sevens circuit. And while the Samoan is unlikely to return to Myreside the club have been gearing up for a swift comeback to the top flight by organising back room staff ahead of tonight’s resumption of fitness training.

Ex-Scotland centre Marcus Di Rollo will remain as head coach alongside former A international winger Conan Sharman who will have charge of defence.
