Edinburgh Accies ensured the race for the BT National Division One title will go to the final day of the season when they posted a 33-17 win away to Falkirk.
The afternoon started badly for Accies, who lost prop James Pearce to injury and conceded an early try. However, they bounced back with touchdowns from Will Stephen and skipper Jamie Sole, both converted by Ben Appleson, to lead 14-5 at half-time.
And further tries by Tom Drennan, Clement Lacour and Alex Glashan enabled the Raeburn Place men to garner all five league points and guarantee that they will finish in the top two.
With current pacesetters Marr also posting a bonus point victory over Musselburgh, there is no change at the top. The Ayrshiremen retain a four-point lead over Accies and have a substantially better points difference although they face a tricky assignment away to GHA this weekend.
Marr require one point from that final fixture to clinch the silverware and the automatic promotion spot, leaving Accies, who welcome Aberdeen Grammar to Raeburn Place on Saturday, in a play-off against Hawick to decide which of the two sides will ply their trade in the BT Premiership next season.
