Grayson Hart is targeting a first league win in Edinburgh Rugby colours when Ospreys visit Meggetland tonight.
The 25-year-old Scots-qualified scrum half from New Zealand has shared in notable Euro successes against Gloucester and Perpignan but has had to wait for a repeat on the domestic front.
A debut away to UIster proved daunting for the team and in the past fortnight Hart has had to be content with bringing home losing bonus points from Connacht and Scarlets.
“My attitude is the same as all players in wanting to do a job for the team to get a result,” says the nephew of former All Blacks coach, John Hart.
Capped by Scotland A in the draw with England Saxons recently, he says: “That was huge and made me want to work for higher honours. My family was hugely proud.”
• Herioter Bruce Douglas, the former Scotland prop, will make a debut for Newport Gwent Dragons tonight at Ulster. Douglas is on loan from Bristol.
• The draw for the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup will be made later today as Heriot’s go into the pot alongside Glasgow Hawks, Aberdeen Grammar FPs and Gala.
