Forrester kept their slim BT East Two title hopes alive by running in 12 tries to defeat Liberton 84-21 on Saturday.
The easy win leaves Forrester, whose promotion has already been confirmed, second in the table. They are nine points behind leaders St Boswells with two matches remaining.
A positive result for the Borderers against Leith on March 14 will see them finish top, but Forrester have kept the pressure on.
At the weekend, Daniel Park, Paddy Bree and Daniel Marr all ran in two tries each for Forrester with Robbie Douglas, Jordan Kay, Lucas Buxton, Stewart Fulton, Pietro Crolla and Craig Morrison also scoring.
Alan Panther also had a great day with the boot, kicking all 12 conversions in their 14th league win of the campaign.
Elsewhere in the division, Penicuik were at home to Leith and won 22-10 while Inverleith won 26-14 at Lismore.
Murray West led the way with two tries as North Berwick won at Portobello and keep up their BT East One title hopes.
They were victorious 52-17, West’s two tries being added to by scores from Jamie Dove, Lee Inglis, Gareth Walker, Bhrian Buchanan, Grant Black and Kyle Hamilton. Grant Craig added six conversions.
Dalkeith are third after they defeated Hawick Linden 25-13.
Ross High are still top of BT East Three after they won 34-25 at Gala YM while Broughton are third after they saw off RDVC at Wardie 31-5.
Broughton are 11 points adrift of Ross High but have three matches in hand.
