Having broken one Edinburgh Rugby try-scoring record at the weekend, fears began to surface today that international winger Tim Visser may not be around at the club to pass further milestones.
When Visser crossed in defeat at Lyon in the second tier Challenge Cup at the weekend it was his tenth in Capital colours taking him past Ben Cairns at European level.
However, Cairns’ tries were all scored in the premier Champions Cup and Visser might not be around next season if Edinburgh qualify for top Euro action.
A report today maintains that the Dutchman has yet to sign a new deal.
It was in February 2012 that Visser penned a three year contract extension.
Since then Visser, 27, has gone on to score seven tries in 35 appearances for Scotland having become eligible on a residency rule with his wider appeal growing regularly.
