Liberton stayed up in BT East Two on the final day of the season after a dramatic afternoon of action on Saturday.
The Edinburgh side headed to Leith knowing that either themselves or Earlston would be relegated along with Lismore.
The Leith-Liberton match kicked off at 2pm and the latter lost out 33-22, leaving Liberton on 19 points from their 18 completed league matches.
Then a number of the Liberton contingent hot footed it to Bangholm to watch the end of the Trinity Accies-Earlston match. Trinity came out on top 29-23 and Earlston picked up a losing bonus point.
That left Earlston on 19 league points too, but Liberton finished above the Borderers because of a better points difference.
