Preston Lodge defeated RHC in the battle of the top two in RBS East One at the weekend. The East Lothian side came out on top 29-22 at the Pennypit to leave themselves as the only unbeaten side after four matches.
Tries for PL to make it a bonus-point win came from Chris Thomas, Paul Glynn, Jason Riley and Andrew Clark. Graeme Patterson kicked the rest of the points while RHC went home with a losing bonus point.
Dunbar are in second place after they put in a fine showing to defeat Hawick Harlequins 40-8 at Hallhill.
North Berwick are in fourth place after tries from Angus Elder, Calum Mark and Grant Spence saw they manage to defeat Linlithgow 20-17. Portobello lost 22-5 at Hawick Linden.
Dalkeith and Forrester played out a cracker in RBS East Two with the former managing to come out on top 29-28 to leave them top with four wins from four.
For Forrester it was their first defeat of the campaign and expect both of these two clubs to be challenging for the title come the end of the season.
Edinburgh Northern got their second win of the season as they managed to defeat Penicuik 17-13. Connor McAndrew grabbed two tries, but Lismore lost 41-10 at home to Earlston, Leith saw off Inverleith 9-3 and Trinity Accies lost 27-13 at home to Berwick.
Ross High defeated Broughton 26-13 in Tranent in RBS East Three.
Liberton and Queensferry suffered big losses with RDVC drawing 36-36 at Walkerburn.
