David ROBERTSON and Nick Hamner both bagged
hat-tricks for their respective
clubs as there were points aplenty in the RBS East Leagues over the weekend.

Robertson was the star man for Leith in RBS East Three, his three tries leading them to a 57-3 home win over Liberton and kept them on the tails of the top two of Inverleith and
St Boswells. And Hamner’s trio of tries for Inverleith kept them top of the division and unbeaten after a 62-0 win at Arboretum over RDVC.

It was also Hamner’s second hat-trick of the season after he ran in three against Queensferry earlier in the month, and the team have now scored 220 points and let in just 28 in fourth matches.

Elsewhere in RBS East Three, Penicuik were edged out 9-7 at St Boswells to leave the Midlothian men fourth, while Queensferry won 27-22 at
Moray House and Broughton went down 24-15 at home to Walkerburn. Livingston and Preston Lodge both remained unbeaten at the top of RBS East One.

At North Berwick, Livingston edged out the hosts 36-35 while Preston Lodge defeated East Lothian rivals Dunbar 29-16.

RHC Cougars defeated Linlithgow 30-19 and Portobello went down 18-8 at Langholm.

Dalkeith were leapfrogged by Hawick Harlequins at the top of RBS East Two after the Midlothian club’s match at Gala YM was off and the latter won 38-8 at Ross High.

Forrester defeated Trinity
Accies 29-14 and Lismore lost 27-14 at Hawick Linden and Edinburgh Northern were
defeated 51-0 at Earlston.
