Watsonian Rugby president Keith Watters today led tributes to club physio and ex-women’s internationalist Keri Holdsworth who has died, aged 36, after a road accident.
Keith said: “It has been incredibly difficult to find the right words to express our sadness.
“Keri has been associated with Watsonians on and off the pitch since the early 2000s and has made an indelible impression. She was forceful both in her play and control of the game in general. As a physiotherapist she put so much time into being the best.”
Women’s captain Emily Cotterill summed up Keri as “hard-working, never quitting and an awesome team-mate and friend”.
