Plenty of spice as MacGillivray faces Morgan

Have your say

Granton snooker ace Craig MacGillivray will need to be at the top of his game today when he faces former world No. 8 Darren Morgan at the European Championship Masters event in Poland after comfortably defeating Austria’s Richard Kornberger 4-1 in the last 32.

Rhys Clark (Stonehouse) defeated Pole Patryk Maslowski 4-1 and now faces Ireland’s John Sutton in the last 32, but Motherwell’s Michael Collumb is out.

Meanwhile, Locarno’s Scott Donaldson lost out 5-3 to
England’s Rory McLeod in the final qualifying round of the Australian Open in Gloucester. McLeod thus secured a place in the final stages of the event in Bendigo, Victoria next month.
