Capital duo Robert Carlisle and Lee Mein were both today set to launch their bids at the 2015 European Snooker Championship in Prague.

The amateurs are aiming to make it through the group phase of the event to the knockout stages.

East of Scotland champion Mein faces Kacper Filipiak (Poland), Rene Dikstra (Holland), Janne Hummastenniemi (Finland), Tin Venos (Croatia), Jakub Rendla (Czech Republic) and Claudio Costa (Italy). Carlisle lines up against Tyler Rees (Wales), Jurian Housdens (Belgium), Marios Kleitou (Cyprus), Maor Shalom (Israel) and Stanislaw Privitzer (Czech Republic).
