Granton snooker ace Craig MacGillivray will be aiming to finish the Scottish snooker season in style tonight.

The Capital cab driver cues up tonight in the final of the Scottish National Masters Championship at the Minnesota Fats snooker club in Glasgow against Pat McKinney knowing that whatever the result he will finish the Scottish Masters Series at the top of the rankings. MacGillivray was in fine form en route to the final. After defeating Robert Miller 3-1 in the last 16, MacGillivray whitewashed Mike Watson (Dumfries) 5-0 before making breaks of 73, 67 and 60 in a 5-3 win over Danny Maxwell. McKinney was also in fine form, making a 102 break in a quarter-final whitewash of Martin Cook before defeating Paul Jamieson (Dumfries) 5-1 to reach the final.
