Caledonian Brewery Raceday at Musselburgh Racecourse

Combine the thrill of flat racing with the chance to sample and enjoy a full craft beer line up featuring local brews from the Caledonian Brewery, the meeting’s sponsor.

Indeed, a day at the races is no longer just about the action on the track. This year, the Old Mout Cider Garden will offer revellers a colourful, quirky space to kick back and relax.

There will also be a variety of live music, including the Funkwagen which will add atmosphere to the day.

Sarah Montgomery of Musselburgh Racecourse said: “A day at the races continues to grow in popularity as people look for more authentic and memorable experiences. Time is precious and we want to maximise it with great days’ out. As a racecourse, we evolve the offering each year to enhance the race day experience and this year we’ve added more craft beer sampling as well as the cider garden which will appeal to our increasing female audience.

“With live music as well, it will be a celebration to toast the weekend.”

Advanced tickets are now on sale £25 (£30 on the day). Kids 17 and under go free.

Food will also be available, including Aberdeen Angus  Burger and Beer, Gourmet Pie and Pint, or Fish and chips packages. All packages costs £40 and include admission, racecard and choice of beer, wine or soft drink.

For those who prefer a little extra sparkle with their racing, the Pommery Pop package (£42, including entrance ticket) comes complete with a bottle of 200ml Pommery Pop.
