Volleyball: City of Edinburgh maintain 100 per cent record

City of Edinburgh kept up their unblemished start to the Scottish volleyball season with an emphatic win over Capital rivals Edinburgh Jets.

City, who have not dropped a set in the league, did not look like losing that record as they came through 25-9, 25-12, 25-15.

Tougher tests await with City to host unbeaten City of Glasgow Ragazzi next month before a double-header with Norwegian side Viking TIF Bergen in the CEV European Challenge Cup in December.

In the women’s SVL Premier, Edinburgh University lost at home to Su Ragazzi 23-25, 15-25, 13-25.

City of Edinburgh had the most convincing win of the day – beating NUVOC 25-7, 25-10, 25-6 in an impressive display.
