Based on the songs of The Proclaimers and set in the Capital, Sunshine On Leith tells the story of Davy and Ally, two squaddies returning home after a tour in Afghanistan, charting their lives and loves as they try to adjust back into life on civvy street.

“This is a high energy, action-packed show that is sure to leave the audience with a smile on their face at the final curtain.”

Written by Stephen Greenhorn the musical was first performed by Dundee Rep in 2007 and has since toured theatres around the UK. It was later adapted for the big screen, starring young George McKay and Kevin Guthrie, Peter Mullan and Jane Horrocks.
