The big-money giveaway is one of the highlights of the evening as the popular venue welcomes the start of a new decade in style with its Tamagotchi New Year's Eve party.

Manager Marc Walker said: "This is the city's biggest throwback event this year and is going to be great fun."

Marc, who has promised full club décor, loads of giveaways and confetti canons, added: "We've never done a balloon drop like this on Hogmanay.

"We'll bring in the bells by dropping 100 balloons on to the party. One lucky person is going to start 2020 with £500 in their pocket so what a great way to start the new year!"
