Frankie Boyle to play seven Scottish shows in summer, here's where

Comedian Frankie Boyle has announced the dates and Scottish venues for his latest stand-up tour.

The Glaswegian comic will bring volume three of his eight-volume Prometheus show to Edinburgh and Glasgow in August.


Mr Boyle is best known for his dark brand of humour and aversion to political correctness. The 45-year-old has done the rounds on many comedy panels, most notably Mock The Week.

Information about the show is hard to come by (but it’s probably safe to say those who are easily offended should not attend), but we do know it is the third show of what Boyle intends to be an eight-volume Prometheus series, and it invites the audience to “watch Frankie’s consciousness pilot an old man’s body around the stage, telling jokes about some very important things that you don’t care about.”
