“We are keen to hear from good singers of all voices – soprano, alto, tenor and bass,” says Barbara Badger of Cadenza. “Singers are welcome to join us by prior arrangement at any time during the year, but the open rehearsal is an ideal opportunity to ‘try us out first’ with no strings, no commitment and no charge.”

Cadenza were founded in 1992 and now attract members from across the central belt. The choir have also been broadcast on BBC Radio 4, Radio 3 and Radio Scotland.

Badger adds, “Our musical director, Jenny Summerling, is known as a perfectionist, demanding the best from her singers. Under her direction, the choir has gone from strength to strength.”
