Lewis Capaldi has the UK’s biggest-selling album of 2020 so far

The 23-year-old pop sensation's debut album, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, was released in May 2019, but it seems people just can't get enough of it.
The album, which features the monster hits Someone You Loved, Bruises and Hold Me While You Wait, has sold so many copies this year that it's officially the UK''s biggest-selling album of 2020.

Hide AdIndeed, according to the Official Charts Company, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent has spent 45 weeks in the UK Top 10, and out of the nine weeks it has spent on the No.1 spot, three of those weeks were this year.
This year alone, the album has sold more than 205,000 copies, with 845,997 in total since its release in May last year.
Meanwhile, Capaldi’s chart-topping single Before You Go is the third biggest single of 2020 so far, with 581,000 chart sales.
Responding to the news, Capaldi tweeted, "This is absolutely wild, what the f***?"
