Local Buzz: Oxjam Takeover

SINCE Oxjam Takeover was launched in 2009, these amazing multi-venue, one-wristband-gives-access-to-all events have become the showcase of the year for local emerging talent.

This year’s event takes place across five city centre venues - Cabaret Voltaire, Sneaky Pete’s, Electric Circus, The Wee Red Bar and Medina – from 5pm to 3am.

Bands taking part include Aerials Up, Broken Records (above), Citizens, Dead Boy Robotics, Found, French Wives, The Spook School, Meursault, Trapped In Kansas and Sebastian Dangerfield.

Head along and see some of the Capital’s best bands and support an excellent cause at the same time. All proceeds go to support Oxfam’s amazing work towards overcoming global poverty.
