Love Actually live on screen in Edinburgh 2019: dates, times, tickets and venue

This is everything you need to know about the screening taking place in Edinburgh this weekend.

What’s the show?

For the third year running, you can catch Christmas classic Love Actually on the big screen accompanied by a full orchestra.

The film was directed by Richard Curtis and was originally released in cinemas in 2003 - the plot tells the story of ten separate yet interconnected stories of love around Christmas time.

A full, live orchestra will also be in attendance to perform the iconic music from Craig Armstrong.

Where and when is it on?

The show will take place at the iconic Usher Hall in Edinburgh on Sunday 15 December.

The doors open at 6:30pm with the show scheduled to start at 7:30pm.

With the show taking place this Sunday (15 December), tickets are limited, but there are some still available.

You can book tickets online by heading to the Usher Hall website.

Ticket prices range from £18.15 to £71.50 depending where you choose your seats.

As the film is rated a 15, this event is for those aged 15 years old and older.

How to get there

The Usher Hall is found in central Edinburgh and is easy to access, no matter how you choose to travel.

Walking

The Usher Hall can be found only five minutes walk from Princes Street. Just walk up Lothian Road and you’ll find it next to the Traverse Theatre and the Lyceum Theatre.

Bus

Lots of Lothian Buses service the Usher Hall. The bus numbers you want to keep an eye out for are: 1, 10, 11, 15, 16, 24, 34 and 47.

Driving

There is limited on street parking by the Usher Hall. There is also parking available at NCP Castle Terrace, which is located behind the Usher Hall and at the Sheraton Hotel across the road.

Disabled parking is available on Grindlay Street and Cambridge Street.

There is also a taxi rank opposite the Usher Hall on Lothian Road if you’d rather jump in a taxi.
