Mecca Bingo announce sale of Leith club to Club 3000 - but existing staff will stay on

The Scottish club, which is due to changeover on Tuesday December 10th, is one of five Mecca clubs that will soon be owned by the Club 3000 brand.

And it will be business as usual for local bingo players as their favourite Mecca staff at the Leith club in Manderston Street will be transferring their employment to Club 3000; meaning no job losses are expected due to the transition.

Club 3000 have described the Leith club as a great venue with a fantastic community, and their team is proud to keep offering customers an excellent bingo experience. The new venue will continue to offer something for everyone – both frequent bingo lovers and new players.

Paul MacPhee, general manager at Mecca Leith, said: “This is a really exciting time for both Mecca and Club 3000, the transition is a great opportunity for staff and players to experience all the enjoyment of the game with different operators.

"We’re looking forward to seeing the club up and running with all of our Mecca staff doing what they do best."
