What was your first job? Waitress at Indigo Yard - I am proud to say I was once referred to by an angry customer as being a hazard to the industry.

What has been your most unusual job? Fruit picker in the summer holiday. Messy and delicious.

My biggest achievement so far has been... Completing my first album Be Still Gentle Kind - due for release on September 9.

My worst moment ever was… Losing my mother at a young age and having to figure out this whole grief ‘thing’.

Three words that sum up my personality are... Creative. Honest. Ambitious.

Favourite place in the world? The German Alps.

Three places in Edinburgh I could not live without are... The Shore, my sister’s house, the Botanics.
