What school did you attend? Forrester High School.

What sort of pupil were you? I was good academically and at the same time had a good social life.

Were your school days the best days of your life? Uni was better. I was doing a subject I loved and had great friends.

What was your first job? Hairdresser’s assistant on a Saturday.

What has been your most unusual job? I volunteered at the opening of the National Museum of Scotland, which was different and unusual but very interesting.

My biggest achievement so far has been... Achieving my history degree at Edinburgh University.

My worst moment ever was… At my first workshop at Lauriston Castle I slid over in the mud in front of a group of parents!

Three words that sum up my personality are... Focused, loyal and outgoing.

Three places in Edinburgh I could not live without are... Definitely Lauriston Castle, National Museum of Scotland and my house in South Gyle.

Which TV show do you never miss? The new episodes of Upstairs Downstairs.

If you could bring one show to Edinburgh what would it be? Wicked – the new theatre adaptation of The Wizard of Oz.
