Woman arrested after ejection from Edinburgh Fringe show
The 38-year-old woman, who has not been identified but is understood to be from New Zealand, is alleged to have assaulted two men and a police officer after being forcibly ejected from the show at the city’s Espionage nightclub.
The show involves two comedians, with one arguing in favour of unrestricted freedom of speech and the other arguing that it should be curtailed. Before the performance ends, the winner of the debate is decided through an audience vote.
