Have your say

THE name Arabian Nights stirs up thoughts of tales of Aladdin, magic lamps and genies that have been told repeatedly, but the classic stories take a new turn in this Fringe show.

William Forde, Yasmin Goodman and Luke Pitman bring the stories to life with an array of colourful characters and hilarious animal impressions which will have children squealing with laughter.

The trio don’t just stick to one story, but seize the opportunity to tell four wrapped in to one.

The underlying tale follows Sheherazade as she puts off being killed by the King by entertaining him with her tales, featuring Aladdin, Ali Baba, The Little Beggar and The Fisherman and the Genie.

Each actor is completely unique and all manage to pull off playing a whole range of eccentric and hilarious characters guaranteed to have kids gripped.

Arabian Nights, recommended for 5+, is a well paced show that won’t disappoint and one the kids are sure to talk about long after the Fringe is over.
